Only 12MP DNG available with stock camera, I will try GCAM to see if can get 50MP DNG output

Unfortunately, even with GCAM there is only 12MP DNG output. Now we have 12MP Raw and 50MP Jpeg

Not bad, but was surprised at the amount of distortion especially in the telephoto shot. Would have thought buildings would have been straighter. Maybe there is no correction applied? Not smart enough to understand that part. Would expect it in ultra wide, but wide and tele seemed to have more than I expected to see.

Not bad - you nailed it. I was surprised by noise in daylight and wormy details as well

May I know, which picture style are you shooting with? Leica Vibrant or Leica Authentic? Gsmarena thinks the Leica Vibrant with AI toggle set to off produces one of the photo best photo out of smartphone camera

I shot with Leica authentic with AI off and auto HDR on. In most case I prefer Leica authentic. it is more contrastive, brings more tonal depth and 3D like image. Leica vibrant offers higher dynamic range which I dont like so much.

The GOAT of main sensors regarding details/texture/bokeh/ fast shooting - af.

With gcam it's already brutal in low light and that is with very early version

I’ve tested GCAM, the night vision mode is not as good as the stock camera, it was even much darker with GCAM.

All the samples were straight out from the phone, I didn’t touch them. If you’re interested I can take some Raw photos and upload to my Google drive.

Yes, thank you. I am really impressed by the huge amount of detail of the pics, especially the 50M samples.

I think the Xiaomi 12s ultra put pressure even to apsc cameras.

I repeat, impressive!

it looks like 50mp JPGs are also upscaled from 12mp
