That's a beauty for sure.

Not that i could ever consider it at that price ... but what is it that makes those Broncolor Para 133 so good ?

IIRC, this was using the Para 222. That day I used both for this model. Broncolor Paras are made up of 24 panels. So there are 24 hard lights, yet due to its size, a soft character to them at the same time. It is a true parabolic shape. That very much applies to the look.

So, it’s specular and soft. It renders skin and textures of clothing in a very unique way. A strobe can be focused to produce a hard fresnel look all the way to a beautiful softer defocused look.

It can give many looks for a single modifier. Looks great feathered as well.

Here’s another…

sigma ART 85 f1.4

I believe it to be the Broncolor Para 222 from around 10 feet away. Used both the 222 and 133 that day.
