Can't answer with just one tick.

(i) For Astro I shoot Raw +Jpeg, Jpeg for preview, Raw for processing.

(ii) For Terrestrial, I shoot Jpeg only. Used to include Raw but never used them in P/P.

I would say majority on SOOC JPG, which is a personal chanllege to my skill.

I would do editing in post mostly on simple editing, and JPG is far less fragile as many might consider. The output can hold up well after certain level of heavy editing.

I would shoot RAW in case if I expect heavy post processing would be needed,.e.g. very complicated lighting condition...

Raw only, post processing in Lightroom, DXO Lab and Photoshop.

Is hoot jpeg and I post-process each image using Paint Shop Pro I’ve consistently done that since 1998 Given my history and my age (now 80 plus) I’m unlikely to change a path that works well for me

C1 Pro mainly. PhotoLab if noise reduction is important. OMW very rarely for access to jpeg settings, especially native lens corrections for FT lenses.

I have a fast laptop.

RAW & JPEG - process in Lightroom

I hate jpegs. They look horrible with even slight tone curve adjustments. I only shoot Raw and I process using darktable.

My GH5 is set to record raw files to one card and .jpegs to the other. The raw files are my originals, and I use a variety of software options to process them- I've wound up having to pay the Adobe tax so I'm back to using Lightroom as my main workflow tool but I also have DxO Photolab for some specialty applications.

The .jpeg files serve two purposes- backup in case of primary card failure, and an option to push to my smartphone/tablet over wifi in the field. Once I've imported and backed up the raw files, I reformat the backup .jpeg card. So, technically I shoot raw+jpeg but for the vast majority of my creative projects I only use the raw files.

I shoot both. But, to tell the truth, I rarely use the RAW. I keep them for emergencies. I hate sitting behind a computer, much rather be shooting. But, if I am at a wedding of a friend, I'll shoot both and if the jpegs need tweaking and I can do it, I do. And if the jpegs don't allow enough alteration, I have the raw as standby.

For me, jpeg only + never really seen much advantage in raw.

I do my processing in Apple photos, Luminar AI and sometimes Snapseed on iPad. Can’t stand Adobe software or the way it seems to invade your machine.
