Some details:

2.4mm - Ultra wide angle lens (12mm 1/2" sensor)
7.59mm - Main lens (24mm 1/1.12" sensor).
22mm - Telephoto lens (120mm 1/2" sensor)

Also, the 4th photo is with 2X digital zoom hence the loss of sharpness.

I am astonished by the quality of these images. Thank you for sharing Groot!

For sure you are a great photographer but the camera being a smartphone impress me, too. Even the plate on the car of the picture nr.9 is readable and it is shot witht the 5x tele lens (correct?). Sharpness, colours, blur, dynamic range, all are far superior to what normally can be found with other smartphones.

Do you use GCAM ore the standard camera app of the phone to shot these images? Thanks

I am seriously considering the xiaomi mi 11 ultra as my next smartphone to substitute the huawei p40 pro. I was looking to the Sony xperia 1 iv but no idea if it can reach this level of quality...

What gcam port and xml file are you using? I have the LMC 8.4 port and am not getting quality as good as this, is the phone rooted or locked bootloader? HDR+ or HDR+ enhanced on?

Yes, that's correct. Nr.9 is the 5X lens.

Yes, wrote in the title. All the shots were taken using gcam. None of them with the standard app.

It's a great phone and has very good gcam support. It's not a flawless phone though. The proximity solution is by far the worst I have ever tried (you will have a turned on screen while talking on the phone). Battery life is normal, but on vacations I usually change to 60hz. Macro is a joke. Keep in mind that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is just around the corner.

Currently I think there aren't many phones that can compare to the Mi 11 Ultra + gcam quality.

Thanks for your comment!

It's MTSL 7.1 + my XML which is based on Matteo. I can share of course.

Thank you for the suggestions.

I've used MTSL before, was very unstable, app kept crashing. Nothing that I've used so far is working better than the stock camera, using LMC 8.4 which works well but not as good as these images.

It's very stable right now. Obviously slower than stock , But image quality is far better. Downside is that the stock app does more magic with HDR to bring back details from highlights, and stock tap to focus works far better. It seems that gcam focus works best when you don't tap to focus ..

Fantastic shots and amazing place 👍

This is weird. Did You load this XML file? https://mega.nz/file/fRJi3bZT#je_WkDwRw6PmRHFQrYn6mZZR_7QN1K6gJrK1V9tzZdk

In my experience output from both is almost the same, but i preffer LMC for some extra feautures and better UWA camera quality. This is example photo from LMC8.4, sorry fot OT

Yes, that's the XML file, switching between modes was a 50% chance of it crashing so I uninstalled it.

Wow, i had this on Mi 11 Ultra and this port was very stable - never crashed :| I think it can be caused by MIUI version on Your phone. Try update and check again.

The quality is absolutely amazing. The details and sharpening and colours are all very pleasing and work well together (composition and place helps of course!).

When you say it is slower than stock, are you referring to the app launch speed, focus speed, shutter lag, saving speed or a combination of the above? I found an open box Mi 11 Ultra selling for CAD $800, and am really tempted to upgrade to this.

£500 for an as new mi 11 ultra is a bargain, especially if it's a global version.

Shutter lag since each shot consists of 27 frames. The less light you have, the shower it is. If course you can use less frames, but with more noise.

Switching between modes is slow (UI).

After each shot there is an algorithm running to merge all of the frames which can take 3 seconds or so.
