Let's not get preachy. America isn't exactly observiing Internation
Law at Guantanamo Bay. Nor has it ever backed down from supporting
countries that engage in abusing the freedoms that it preaches to
uphold. This two-faced arrogance really pisses off the rest of the
international community.
Not only "freedom of speech" dacho, but freedom to pursue
individual happiness, freedom from political persecution, freedom
of religion, a free press, freedom to accumulate wealth, freedom to
own a business, free to have more that two children, (and not have
baby Girls killed), free from grotesque human rights
abuses...dectect a pattern here?
You started this with your smug comments about America.
America has sacrificed their sons and daughters all over the world
in the name of freedom and democracy.
The very freedom that you use to insult America.
From WWII to the cold war, America has been on the side freedom,
while communism strives to occupy, dominate and control vast parts
of the globe.
For all those who have died fighting for freedom, you should stop
your anti American insults.

I was in China this year; Beijing, Hong Kong, and Yunnan province.
Yes, they have a sliver of democracy and freedom, but they have a
long way to go before they are a free and open society.
China truly wants to continue down this path, but they will have to
throw off communism and adopt democracy. This will take time.
However, the communists still takes political prisoners, they still
engage in torture and murder, They still have forced abortions, and
sterilization policies. They refuse to properly treat people
infected with AIDS/HIV. China continues to repress and Jail
religious movements.
China has meted out the death penalty for a wide range of non-violent
and relatively minor crimes -- including gambling, bigamy and
stealing cows
-- and executions are made more "cruel and degrading" by public
humiliation
rallies and by the use of executed prisoners' organs for transplants.
Lets not overlook that China is the worlds largest proliferator of
WMD. China sells these weapon to rogue Nations.

The "international community" has relegated themselves to a
debating society. They have proven themselves unable to stand up to
tin pan despots and enforce the laws that they themselves pass.
They would rather engage in dialog, impose economic sanctions and
pass resolution after resolution. In short, they don't have the
balls to fight for freedom.
It seams that America, Briton, and others are the only ones willing
to fight the war against the proliferation of WMD in the hands of
despots, rogue nations, and terrorist's.
Make no mistake Jared, the threat of nuclear annihilation is real.
The threat of tens of millions of innocents dieing from a nuclear,
chemical or biological attack can and will happen if somebody
doesn't stop them.
The "international community" did not want to win the cold war.
Instead they wanted "nuclear parity", "a nuclear freeze", "nuclear
disarmament",
and dialog, and negotiation, all while Russia claimed territory
after territory.
The international community was dead wrong then, and they are dead
wrong now. This 'war on terrorism' must be won.
"Those who do not learn from History are doomed to repeat it".
My comments are directed toward those people who ridicule,
denigrate, and condescend against America and it's peoples during
this time of war.
