Nude photos of myself

george thanks a lot...

i'm going to invest in some lighting equipment...it sucks that i have to wait for the sb800 though...another band asked me for promo shots now...so i think lighting equipment will be worth my while

i am strapped on $$$ though...what can i start with that is cheap? any recommendations?

these are local bands so i'm not getting paid..it's good advertising for me too...

They use roughly the same methods, different rules though and I find that a slightly different clientelle of users on each. So one may be more nature, another artistic... just try and find a niche for stage/band shots

They should go down well and generate some useful commenting though.

I have always wanted to see what I look like in the buff myself... I think I could do that....just hit the good old self timer....and run in front of the camera and hope that I could trick people into believing that it was art. LOL!!

Why wait for the SB-800? I don't think unless you have the D2H, it'll just function the same as the SB-80DX. I've been using it for the past year and I'm really happy with it. Excellent flash and the ergonomics are great. Just order it from B&H or something. Also, I would consider getting a bracket and flash cord. You could get a cheap stroboframe for about 30 bucks and if you look hard enough you can get a flash cord for about 25 to 50 bucks on ebay. It's all part of the gear of an event photographer!

Man, I know what kind of beach you shoot at...you don't really take surfing pictures, that's just an excuse for what you're really shooting, huh?
