Anyway, I wanted the much smaller and cheaper charger for my ENEL18C batteries in my D850 optional grip. The Nikon MH-33 which I think is the same charger the Z9 comes with? I found it in stock at an authorized Nikon store for $139.99. What I didn't realize is that it doesn't come with the plug cable or outlet. You need a USBC cable and charger brick to make it work. Luckily the guy at the store noticed this too. He thought it came with it. It's Nikon part# EH-7P, which isn't in stock separately. It's around $50. In order to make it work, you just need a USBC cable and my apple 18 watt power brick I already have, works perfectly. This is a great alternative to the big $370 charger, much cheaper and much smaller.
Yes, you can save alot more $ using 3rd party chargers and batteries, which I refuse to do. I've had many issues over the years doing that. Batteries not charging to 100%, batteries lasting much less. A battery going from full to low batt in 20 min use one time. Never an issue with real Nikon stuff.
