A few photos from my first visit yesterday to the National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington DC, all taken with the APS-C Sony a6000 and 10-18mm f/4 (15-24mm equivalent) lens.

I like your images. Very well done. I was unable to go to the museum last time I was in DC in 2019. The only thing I don't like about the Museum is it's exterior architecture. It's just my opinion, but it just doesn't fit with the architecture surrounding it. Maybe that was the point, to make it "different", but I can't stand it. Yuck. OK, I feel better.

Cheers

Thank you! I agree the architecture is rather unusual and not in the classic DC monumental style. At the other end of the National Mall, the National Gallery East Wing and the American Indian Museum are also unique.

I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one who feels that way. I fully grasp that the architectural design may have had to look "apart", but the American Indian Museum does that as well, but in a way that makes it arguably the most beautiful museum building on the National Mall. Whatever "the point" was of the African Museum's design, if many don't get it, then it failed to make that point.
