New X-Pro3 user - I want to turn off the EF-MF display item in both the LCD and viewfinder. I've gone in to the Disp. Custom Settings section and unchecked both shutter type selections but that doesn't seem to do it. Suggestions?

Just press the DISP/BACK button when you don’t want to see the info clutter on either.

Using DISP/BACK gets rid of the histogram and the electronic level and that's all.

You must be in full manual mode or have the exposure locked - when you’d probably want to know what the settings are. In any other situation, the DISP/BACK button will clear the screen.

Are you just looking to shut off the Focus Mode indicator (AF-S, AF-C, M) ? Unchecking FOCUS MODE will get rid of that.

Unchecking SHUTTER MODE will get rid of the MS, ES, M+E indicator.
