You should be more specific when asking questions like this. Mac or PC? What happens when you try to extract the file?

On a PC, when you click on the .exe file, nothing appears to happen, but a new folder is created in the directory that the .exe file is in called Z7Update. Open that folder to find the Z_7_0340.bin file.

So first thing, see if that Z7Update folder has been created, and if so, is the .bin file in it.

Are you attempting this on your PC? If so, perhaps the file is corrupted and should be downloaded again.

Have a look here .

I got it done, but I had to do something odd. I had to relocated the file to a new folder. Once there, I was able to extract it.

I'm amazed how many people trust self-extracting zip archives. I have 7zip installed on all my Windows machines: right click on the file in Explorer, pick 7zip -> Open Archive. Drag the files to your flash drive. No directories to clean up, nothing important overwritten, no malware installed...
