Went out to try an old sigma 135-400 I just got for cheap. Foggy morning, low light, lack of contrast. Still, the lens behaved quite good on the A77.

for some reason the exifs say "300 f/2.8", it's totally wrong. It is indeed the sigma 135-400 4.5-5.6 DG

Nothing spectacular about this montage as far as composition, et al goes. BUT - take a look at the center image. I was flushing dirt out of a brand new water line, and just happened to accidentally hit the shutter release at exactly the right moment to capture the initial dirty water on top of a column of clean. I couldn't have shot this photo if I had tried - proving there is such a thing as dumb luck! A200, Sigma 17-35 EX

My first attempt at shoot a lunar eclipse... clouds and rain blew out on a cold 30MPH west wind around 1AM...

The first image was just lit with the light of the full moon, crazy bright.
