Have you seen this on GR IIIx ?

Overall nice. There was a comment somewhere how there tends to be a bias when it comes to reviewing compact cameras. All cameras have pluses and minuses but no review spends more than a sentence mentioning how big and heavy an a7iv may be, while they spend half the review talking about the shortcomings of a pocket camera.

The GR III and IIIx have their share of issues. God knows the autofocus is horrible at night, but for many people it's a worth sacrifice for what they gain. It just feels a bit repetitive to always mention the same issues at such great length.

At least better autofocus than $500 Fujifilm XF10.

I'm sure that's the case, and in any way I really don't mind it. Every camera I've owned has had its drawbacks. Personally I find the AF (basically the only real drawback in my book of the Ricoh GR series) not that bad compared to other issues I've had.

Take it this way:

my X-Pro3 focusses at night way better than my GR IIIx. But it won't focus at all most nights given I won't have it with me since it is so big and heavy.
