I’m wondering if anybody can help me with a bit of advice regarding my Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC motherboard AM4 socket. The motherboard is mounted in a Corsair 4000D case. The case comes with the usual front i/o connectors plus a USB 3.0, it also comes with a USB 3.1 Type-c connector. There is no USB 3.1 Type-c header on the motherboard so I’ve had to use the normal USB 3.2 Gen 1 header. This allows me to us the mike and headphone sockets on the front panel plus the USB 3 socket. The USB 3.1 Type-c socket on the back i/o board is working fine but I’d like to also use the one on the front panel. The problem is the USB 3.1 Type-c socket on the front panel is dead. So is there any way I can make this USB 3.1 Type-c socket live?
