Hello Hamada-San

Thank you for your interest.

The line runs almost East - West which can make it difficult in strong sunshine. There are quite a number of other locations between Reigate and Guildford although they cannot be seen clearly on Google. There are certainly a number of 'landscape' opportunities for anyone able to walk from the nearest road.
I tend to use the stations for ease of access and do not walk so far these days.
Here's another from that same stretch of line near Betchworth with a fair head of steam. i hope you like it.

It is a while since i explored along this line and Google maps does not make it easy to get much detail.
I would suggest another nice shot for example, will exist near the level crossing here:-

I must try it some time when the conditions are right.

Best wishes.

I took this years ago, the city skyline has changed a lot since then. Time is flying by too fast.

The locations are awesome, it's definitely worth trying it for once at least, but if you go one time, I am sure that there will be second, and the third, because you will get addicted to that route. You get so many insane views, that you can never get while driving a car. This picture describes the atmosphere a bit, but not fully, you should definitely get a ticket https://www.dbfahrplan.com/de/ and go for it. I am telling you from my own experience, I am going there every year, and this is till not enough for me.

It feels so good to see that people are still enjoying to travel by train, even if it's getting replaced by cars and planes, it still has its' charm that no one can replace.

Following on from #12 here's the latest instalment (#13) of the Unofficial Train, Plane and Tram thread. Thank you for all your contributions so far, please keep them coming - all contributions are welcome!

Here are a few of my favourites from Spring in Holland taken back in 2017, all taken somewhere between Haarlem and Leiden I think.

Here a NS Sprinter (Nederlandse Spoorwegen Stadsgewestelijk Materieel) 2963 passes through a field of brilliant red tulips:

This time an NS VIRM (Verlengd InterRegio Materiee) passes through a field of mixed Hyacinths, Daffodils and Tulips:

Another unidentified NS VIRM heads through the tulips:

NS VIRM (with NL NS 94 84 4901031-3 leading) glides colourfully through the tulips:

More information on these classses of NS EMU can be found here NS SGMm and here NS VIRM if you're interested. To me the VIRM is unusual as we haven't had any double-decked passenger trains in the UK for many years.

I look forward to seeing your contributions to this thread!

Friday night I shot a train and a trolley at the Tampa 'diamond crossing' of the CSX A Line and the TECO trolley line. it was totally dark but I though it would be fun to see what I could get, I had to shoot at ISO 3200 even with my 22mm f2 lens on the Canon M6ii.

The resulting images, even with my best attempts with the 'good' denoising capabilities of Canon DPP 4.0, in conjunction with darktable's, were still quite noisy and grainy.

I read on another thread about DxO software and it's Deep Prime de-noising... so I downloaded the trial version and gave it a shot... here are the results, a night-and-day difference!

Nice! I believe the B&W caught the mood perfectly.

Very nice! You might have seen, I captured a similar locomotive on a local line in Tampa, also badly in need of a paint job, in this post

I'm on the Kansas City Union Station's event mailing list, and Monday night I got a notice, that "Big Boy" 4014 would be coming through town - arriving Tuesday early evening, leaving Thursday morning. Wasn't much notice, but I wanted to give it a shot!
