Hi all. Some of you will recognize me as one of the Open Talk moderators.

I've been getting some complaints of bad behavior here, but had no moderating power as it was out of my jurisdiction, so to speak, so I could just forward to admin. (who don't have time) I volunteered, they thanked me and blessed me.

Please follow the forum rules , paying particular attention to Rule 6. Then, we'll get along.

Don't react to a troll or someone who has behaved badly. Just report the offending post by clicking the 'Complain' link to the bottom right of the post.

If there is a topic that is only of interest to two people and has nothing to do with DPR challenges, then discuss it (civilly) by PM instead of clogging up this forum with bickering.

I like your approach to managing Open Talk and it's good to have you on board here.

Aside from the behavioural management issues, you will notice this forum attracts quite a few posts from people who think "challenge" means any question they happen to be struggling with at the time - how to deal with AF not working on low light, how to become a professional photographer, what macro lens to buy, etc etc. Your help with moving those along to a more appropriate forum would be helpful.

I think a lot of people, maybe not native English speakers, see the title and think it means if they have challenges or are challenged by something, they should post here. They don't slow down to read the forum description at the top.
