My Wife worked there for many years as unemployment court stenographer.Bill,
I never got a picture of the World Trade Center.
Driving up from south Jersey I always said I would stop "next time" to take a pick from across the Hudson but never did.
Thanks,
Jerry
Pretty good photographer

Yes YOU ARE, DavidBefore we met, her roomies, tenured teachers in Socorro, NM, in their own right (read Very Large Array, Bill) dared her to touch my hair, at our very first faculty orientation.
I'm pretty catchy, aren't I.?
That's what I get for catching my baby teeth, and hurling them at the sun, with the request that it surrender a better one. Better one than Isabel, I don't know, but, I hung around and now the parents of one of my genius kids, will be here.
Thank you Jerry! I love New York to. Italy was amazing and so beautiful.Tanks Mina,

I know you do Bill and thank you so much. If you love it I know I did a good job photographing it. I can always send you a copy through email or regular mail. Just let me knowI always liked that building!
I have always loved this photo, Mina
Very nice Bill! Glad you and Elliott are having a great time.
Absolutely wonderful series Jerry045! It's so cheerful and uplifting.
Beautiful series Den! I especially like the people sitting outside enjoying themselves.
Maybe pick one or two places, if possible, and try to make it happen. I haven't decided yet but I would like to take one more trip to someplace I really want to see.I would love to have the opportunity to see all of these places!
The photos remind me a little of Greece and Egypt, especially the Mosaics. Wonderful! This is the old city of Meknes, in central Morocco.
Near Meknes is the 3rd century BC Berber city of Volubilis which came under Roman rule in the 1st century AD. It is an amazing place, and a photographer's dream. I'm afraid I didn't do it justice with my SX10 point and shoot nine years ago. Maybe this should be the required cityscape for the challenge.
For me, of all the amazing sights, the floors of mosaic tiles stick in my memory. When I was visiting, they were in full sun, unprotected from the elements, or for that matter, the tourists.
Regards, Troy
Absolutely beautiful images Val! I'm enjoying the pink in the images. It was a hot and steamy afternoon in Hong Kong. I was desperate for someplace that I could feel cool that wasn't in a shopping mall. I took the train out to Sha Tin and hiked up to the 10,000 Buddha's Temple. The added a new feature since I was there last in 1996, A stature of Kuan Yin in a waterfall grotto. I sat down in the shade for an hour cooling off. It was the best moment of that trip to Hong Kong

Aloha,
Val
I liked and enjoyed them all and especially liked the blue in the images. I knew it had to be someone important because I saw the Secret Service Agents in the first photo. The Boys from the hood look greatBet you don't know who that is.
No, not her.
Nor her.
Well?
She mistook me for a photographer, from the bigger city.
Church leader in Abiquiu.
Hello, Ike.
Indigenous Pueblo Leaders.
Boys from the hood.
He said that he is a Vietnam Veteran.
So, this is what the hoopla was for. But, I was there for . . .
(Sorry, I've seem to have run out of . . . (I'll post more tomorrow.)
You've seen my village photos, but I'm leaving one of those for a challenge, next door.
Enjoy
Really wonderful shots ****. I can imagine that was a very memorable trip. I don't drink beer but I might have to change that. It looks so good.
Wonderful images and a lovely place for the beautiful couple to get married. The look on the brides face makes me smile to.
I love New York to and love your photos,"Visited" NYC in 1976 to be with my parents .. been here ever since
Beautiful bike and beautiful photo!. . . training wheels. I was looking at them, as I rounded my grandmother's garden. They had bent. When I got back to where Mom and my three brothers waited, I was in tears. I said; "Mom. Look, no wheels." She smiled; by brothers smirked.
Several weeks later, I was on the downhill, with a 1951 Willis Jeep, bearing down on me; old guy with glasses. Mom found me, back up the hill, (village overlooking a valley) sitting, crying against a fence post.
Broken clavicle.
Last bicycle I ever owned. Today, I went to Española. Made my day.
I was looking, back several years ago, at a popular auction site, and almost bought a bright, yellow bicycle, but it only had a one-sided fork; cheap, maybe $500.00; passed it up. And, it might have been defective. Besides, by the time you buy a rack, security cables, pump, learn to patch on the run, it was way too much trouble.
So, after dinner, I hustled home to exhibit my prize winning photo, only to find that they'd maxed out.
Pfttsstt.
Thanks MinaVery nice Bill! Glad you and Elliott are having a great time.
