Nothing new announced at CP + other than the 28-70mm f 2.8 lens.

So much for the fp L rumours.

Rumours websites,

Uh, what are they good for,

Absolutely nothing,

Say it again.

Sad, I was about to get out my wallet : I do need a new camera now.

I think it will be a Sony in the end.
I probably don't need a new camera, but I want to upgrade. I'm thinking it might be a Sony A7r IV that I finally end up getting. I was hoping for a higher resolution Canon or Nikon to be annouced, and then I hoped for a high resolution Sigma fp. No such luck, so it looks like I might become a Sony patron again. At least I have an adapter to use my Sigma lenses on a Sony.

I'm exactly in the same boat, planning so to buy a cheap Sony...

I will probably stay with Sigma for long zooms.

Lots Of Love

Here it is, the "new" and "old" fp:

t.
I see no visible difference from an original fp in a Smallrig.

What is visible on that thread is a useful cold shoe.

If anyone can read Japanese we might find out how to buy one. Google Chrome doesn't translate Twitter threads.

i had a sony a7r3 for a while with a Loxia 35mm lens.

one day i took the sigma dp1 quattro out with it and made the same photo.

i looked at both when i got home and then sold the sony very soon after.

really thought everything about it was dull to be honest.

but thats just an opinion init

I agree with you, but I don't want to buy a Quattro now, as its lense line is a deadend now.

But I would buy a Quattro with a L mount immediately.

I hope Sigma hears that kind of thoughts.

So, will we not see fp L soon?
Mateus1,

The so called fp L seems to have been a product of someone's imagination, or if there was smoke we haven't seen the fire yet.
