Thanks. I do appreciate it. The modifier I used for this was a Glow 70 Degree Magnum Reflector , without the diffusion cloth. Lately I've been experimenting in the studio with bare reflectors; this 70 degree as well as a 45 degree long throw, and just the standard reflectors. I've also used them combined with using panels or V-flats as a sort of gobo to make effects like light coming through an open door or whatnot.

Hi Daniel - you've really progressed and technically are doing great, but for me, IMHO - this one drops into the "awkward photo" category.

a critique just gets useful when you point out whats the problem. constructive and supportive.

without explanation it just burns down to personal taste.

I honestly didn't think it needed explanation (being so obvious and fully described by the word "awkward").

So here goes -

Problem - awkward = awkward pose - uncomfortable, physically tense, making no sense, bum suspended in the air for no apparent reason, unflattering. Wondering how this would be useful to an agency?

Constructive - try to favor poses that are more natural to the human body. Select props that can enhance the attire and mood while highlighting the model.

Supportive - already did that in the first 1/2 of my original note. (I've known Daniel on DPR for some years now and it's always been positive and friendly - so I would hope he understood my original one line review)

Lastly I did say "for me, IMHO" - so I don't see the point in critiquing a critique, when it's twice flagged as opinion.

I really like the unusual pose, a welcome change, but I think it would have been even better without the rather heavy shoes.
