Post your film and pre-digital documentary and street images

This is Jack then the landlord of my local pub, every morning at 11 he opened up and gave a rendition of some sort on his trombone, Christmas the man in the bowler hat brought his pony and trap to the outside of the pub whereupon Jack would get on board with his improvised comedy routine, good times in the early 1970's

No introductions, no explanations, no justifications, all I ask is that you give each image a little of your time.

Very nice photos.

I have one small 5x7 print from film I did not destroy that I would consider decent. No access to a scanner though. If I photographed it with my x-t2 would that work...? I'm thinking maybe not but IDK. I have a 23mmf 2 and also 18-55... maybe 55mm! Only 30cm close focus distance though whereas I believe the 23 is 10cm aprox.

I also have 5cm macro mode on my lx100 24-75mm range at 12mp.

If you had only one what would you choose if it would even work in carrying across any kind of fidelity..?.

A friend has a Nikon attachment for FX lenses for doing that with negatives and slides but he doesn't live nearby and anyhow mine is a print.

Cheers
Why not give it a try, if you haven't done so already (I know I'm replying to a post from a month ago). I have some very low res (mostly 600x400) ones I scanned from slides over 10 years ago with a cheap scanner. I regret not getting a better scanner but worse don't know where the slides are now, though I'd guess they have deteriorated. Despite the poor quality I'm thinking of posting some though they are from my vacations ... as a record .. better some than none when it comes to this, IMO, esp. when the years are flying by now.

I cannot help myself with your photographs, if I see you post I have to look.

Love this ..is absolutely one of your photos And it Is amazing (to me) to see your photography in film and digital and to see you in both. I suspected this was true, so imagine how happy I was to be right.

love this, have looked at it a number of times now, Maybe an Australian has an upside-down view ..but to me that could be a Christmas tree in the bin. Australia's opinion of the US has always been a romantic one (many have never seen snow).

stunning photograph ..

...or maybe 1973. Taken on Agfachrome transparency media; some have been converted to B&W due to extensive discoloring and/or fading.
