Does anyone here use cascable app with fuji?

I understand it is supposed to be friendlier than the annoying fuji cam remote app, but apparently not all its options work with Fujifilm, so wonder if its worth the transition.

I have used it in the past, thought it was pretty good. IIRC the limitations with Fuji are more to do with the transfer of RAW files. Pretty sure they had a look-up on their website where you could drill down to see options available for specific cameras.

Isn't there a free trial?

Because of your post I downloaded it.

It took work to connect it at first. Not easy, not nice. Once it worked, I do like it. It has better controls and works in landscape as well. It has scripts it can run in the paid mode that can be useful, but the paid version is expensive for me in $NZ

I removed the Fuji app pairing - The camera needs to be on with wifi turned on (wifi panel with the little green wifi symbol should show up) - link to the camera’s wifi on the phone - run the Cascable app and select Remote control - I wait for it to show up on the camera then press the camera’s select button

On first run the phone app shows a pairing request panel to accept as well.

I am still working out how the fuji app affects things. I want the location and time setting to go to the camera, so the fuji app permissions may be needed.

Earlier I couldn't get Cascable to work with my X-H1 but I'll give it another try one of these days following your instructions here! :D
