Many beautiful, sunny winter days invite to go for long walks. The air is cold but in the sun it's nice and warm and one can also relax on one of the many benches.
I posted the entire series with comments on my blog . The following is a selection:
Deep blue sky, a radiating sun, glittery white snow and fresh, clean air: what more could I ask for?
A large part of the forest is strictly reserved for the wild life in winter and humans must stay out . If the animals have to flee because loud two legged fools scare them up, they loose too much energy. But there still are parts of the woods open to us as long as we stay on the trails. And there are hundreds of kilometers of prepared winter trails in Engiadina. And of course you're free to move anywhere you like in the open field.
One of the numberless inviting trails....
Here we are already on 1850 m above sea level (200m higher than the village Guarda).
This prepared alp road is ideal to go sledding.
Almost back home. In the upper left are my two special friends rising up to the sky.
