I'm losing my models! pics

a tiny little habitrail with wheels and swings would make for some great photo ops... at least until they began to eat each other. Hmm, that might work after all!
Sue
you're supposed to bring those little guys in for the winter. They
make great houseguests and I'm sure they'll keep you thoroughly
entertained :o)

Nice macros!

I haven't been on the forum for a few days. Work got in the way
again. I just went out to see what was left of my little macro
buddies. Not much, I'm sorry to say... and those that were left
don't look long for this world.

It's a sad state of affairs... my little models can't take the
Autumn chill... This poor guy was on his last moments:

Nice shots, Sue. Get them while you can. The past 2 weekends I have really wanted to get more butterfly pictures, but circumstances have prevented that. We are expecting cooler weather this weekend, and less bugs crawling and flying around :-(

Have a heart lady ~ it's cold out there!!! :)

What wonderful shots!! That mantis is fantastic ~ heck, they're all fantastic!!! I don't know how, but you're getting even better!!!

What are you going to concentrate on during the winter??? Whatever it is, I'm sure you will master that too!!!

Holy moly ~ I just heard a noise out back, and all those bugs are down here!! Gotta grab my camera!!! :)

And I don't think this fellow's poor excuse for a fur coat will
help him much:

Even my little friend, Zorak, is looking particularly pale and
gaunt these days:

and this guy is even threatening to jump! (an empty threat, if you
ask me, considering he has wings)

So I suppose these may be the last of the macro shots from me for a
while... although I may have a few that I downloaded and never even
looked through. ;)

Sorry I haven't had time to comment much on other folks images in
the past few days... it looks like there have been some real
beauties! I'd better get busy!

Sue

I don't know what I'll shoot this winter! I guess I'll have to get creative... maybe I'll buy some small exotic pet to take shots of... I can always feed it the insects I brought inside when I'm done with them!
Thanks for your comments!

Maybe that was my niche... who knows what goofy thing I'll find to point my camera at next... I can't believe the warm weather is gone for now... Maybe I'll just have to go where it's warm. Hmmm, How's the heat down under? Got any extra seagulls to shoot?
Sue

Sue I love the second one ! All very nicely taken. Maybe u can bring them back home and nurse them back to health :)

It is part of nature's plan. I know this isn't much comfort to you right now but..

Seriously, great shots and commentary. I'm sitting here laughing. Hubby is not a morning person and is wondering how I can be so darn cheerful. Too bad he's in a hurry or I'd show him the pics.

Sigh... I know, I know, but it's still so hard to take...

Funny, my hubby is a morning person, and I'm not... I won't talk to him before coffee!

Thank you for commenting!

I seriously doubt you'd be a pain in the butt to anyone, LOL. I was just stereotyping the 'artist' type that my friends and family always refer to when they tell me how 'eccentric' I am, LOL. Just joshin' ya!
