Took delivery of my printer this morning and have played with it for a few hours. My initial impressions are as follows:-
1. A lot of printer for the money, includes a couple of special trays for various kinds of paper(eg 4x6) that can be used in parallel with regular stock. Will print CDs
2. Comes with some very useful software, especially Photo Record 2.0 that is an extremely powerful, easy to use program that enables printing of albums in a very flexible manner with editing and manipulatin of photos, including colours, sizes rotation etc.
3. Print quality is the best I have ever seen (but I confess I have not seen a huge number of printers) and output is fast. I used Kodak premium glossy paper because this is what I had and what I have used in the past on Epsons and HPs etc.
4. Setup under XP was easy, including sharing over my wireless network and I have full access to all printer functions through the network (this was not always the case with previous printers I have owned).
All in all I am very happy!
