It looks like DJI fixed everything about the Osmo Pocket. I didnt want one before...

Focus doesn't look very "sticky", very apparent around the 4:00-4:30 minute mark.
Also, it's DJI - I'm gonna assume the thing probably needs online activation and cannot be used right out of the box.

Yeah he was having trouble with focus but he did mention this was a prototype so DJI has proven that they are all about the Firmware updates and yes DJI is going to require registration so there is that.
BUT this thing looks way better than the Pocket.

I watched iPhonedo's review and was impressed by the Pocket 2. The Creator's combo kit is appealing. One thing gives me pause is that iPhonedo said there is no manual focus option. Not sure if this is a big issue.

A wider FoV was my biggest wish for the Pocket. Better low light performance was next in line. Other things I wanted were a joy stick and lanyard hole, so this new release looks very appealing to me.

Looks like they nailed both those and with the little afocal snap on wide angle that is THEIR product. The joy stick thing would be super cool your right. I just hope the auto-focus works.

Yeah, with a 20mm equiv FoV, it would've made sense for them to include one or two fixed focus distance presets, or at least a hyperfocal preset for those times when you don't want to worry about AF being fooled. Although I will say that my Pocket 1 hasn't had many AF issues.

Yep! Just got me one .. The socket on my phone is not an USB-C as required to activate thro "Mimo"
Is there another way to activate ??? Do They supply an alternative plug ??
