Screen protector for R5

Did yours ship on the 6th? I did not receive an email from them saying it shipped. All I have is the PayPal receipt that I paid for it. Seems like it either did not ship on the 6th or they are not great with communication.

Just buy a mobile phone protection and cut it to the correct sizes and then apply, it's cheaper and easier.

I ordered and received the expert shield, i got the more expensive glass version of the R5 screen protector.
This is what i received, as you guys can see, it doesn't fit the screen properly, so i contacted their support and told them the following:
It seems that the main display would need a total of 3mm vertically and 1.5mm horizontally.
As for the top display, it would need a total of 1mm both vertically and horizontally and the corners would need to be cut to follow the top screen shape.
They asked for pictures and measurements and now they said they will redesign it, they said it will take couple weeks for the redesign then they will send me one, i can reply here then if you guys want me to
Just reporting my findings
The glass protector retains the touch and clarity! Its amazing, we just need the right size cut to cover the whole thing, its coming.

That’s fine for the thin film ones but I always get the tempered glass ones which I much prefer.

Yes they did send me the new kit and it fit much better! The top display gets covered completely to the point of you forgetting it has a protector on it! the Main display is now covered with 0.5 millimeter left (they do that for ease of application). the touch works perfectly and i feel its amazing protection. Let me know if you want a picture and i will try to get you one

Here is the link to the newest version of the glass protector from expertshield, its not the cheapest, but its the best one out there in my opinion.

They have non-glass versions that are cheaper, you can browse their website for the cheaper versions if thats what you want but i recommend the glass one.
You have to apply it near hot running steaming water (like in the shower) to minimize dust (steam kills dust apparently..) and mine sticks very very well, i forget that i have a protector on there! The touch screen functionality is completely 100% the same

I got the expert shield glass just this week. I didn't have to resort to doing it in the steamed environment, but I did watch the instructions on their website and used the painters tape + hinge method in a clean environment. Was not hard
The quality looks very good. And the package actually comes with 2x of each screen (top lcd + rear lcd), in case your first application leads to a failure. I got it right the first time around, so now I have spares in case I want to refresh them later. That makes the price very reasonable
One thing though - I ordered glass, and while the rear lcd protesters were glass ones, the top ones are the normal ones. I guess this is same for everyone else? Maybe because top lcs has a slight curvature?

If the top LCD has a slight curvature, a tempered glass won't adhere properly since its rigid. Thats probably why they gave the film version instead.
