Friend has G7X Mark III, and noticed condensation inside the lens. Any suggestions on how to remove and whether this is a frequent problem. He was just getting to like the camera!

The best thing to do is put it in a zip lock baggie and let it slowly get the moisure out of the camera :)))

Thanks for the suggestion. We were thinking rice with it? We don’t have any silica gel bags.
NO!!!

You will get rice dust down in all the nooks and crannies of the lens and buttons and the camera will never be the same.

Condensation should clear out on it's own. It is natural for condensation when moving between temperature extremes in humid climates. The way to prevent it is by keeping the camera in a plastic bag when going indoors or out, until the temperature equalizes.

Thanks for the feedback...would have been careful, clearly silica gel bags preferable.

the condensation seems to have cleared, but it’s left a mark on the underside of lens. But cannot see a line on image if take a picture of blue sky..any thoughts?
