Thank you very much!
Great series Bob, I have enjoyed seeing your work and especially enjoyed your enthusiasm for Fuji.
This is a fine example of tracking staying on target with a busy background, good work.
Thank you very much, dear Bob!
Superb shot, superb IQ!Regardless of camera/lenses, this super shot just works for me!

I'm still relatively new to this BIF thing, but here are a few examples I've shot recently using the X-T3 and the 100-400mm:
Hi Twan,Very nice and thanks for sharing.
According your info, you also have the XT2 like i have.
For travel, family it's very capable but BIF is very difficult with the XT2. Do you notice a big difference with your XT3 (or 4) ?

Yes, I do have the X-T2 and X-T3 and have used both extensively for birds in flight. I think the X-T3 is more capable as the faster processor and better auto focus helps a lot. As an example of the auto focus improvement, here is an X-T3 shot of Hummingbird Moth that I was never able to achieve with any of my earlier cameras including my Canons.
This is one of many similar moths referred to as hummingbird moth. Actually this is a White-lined Sphinx Moth (Hyles lineata).Nectaring on Pride of Maderia.
These moths are small, very fast, and the wings are a blur presenting a great challenge to any auto focus system. So...the camera is capable but...birds in flight is also a great challenge to the photographer, requiring great eye hand co ordination and lots of practice. In my case, years of practice, LOL.
Good luck and kind regards,

I don't pay to much attention to the You Tube bloggers but if I had to guess I would guess that it's not possible. Strictly a guess....
Is possible with update firmware, to make Eye AF for Animals ?
