I have a few SA mount lenses to sell. Does anyone know a good place to sell them? Ebay has problems selling SA mount lenses. This is not a forsale ad.

Hello steve. I have had the same problems in the past. You pretty much end up giving them away, especially the non EX lenses. You may want to see if B+H or KEH etc. will do a credit swap.

If you look on EBAY, most of the old lenses have virtually no value. You would better to donate them to SalvationArmy or whatever and take the writeoff. I threw mine away!!

Hi Steven,

what lenses do you have to sell? I´m looking for some lenses and espacially a C-mount or M-42 adapter for my sd9, probably a flash, too. If you wan´t to sell them to Germany, you can mail me, cause in Germany the problem is the same, you can´t get something like used SA-lenses.

Please do not donate to Salvation Army or Good Will.
I will take old lenses unless not right one then forget it.

The benefit is in the writeoff - donate it with the delcared value you paid for it and you can get a substantial writeoff (can probably even mark the value up if you are of high moral fiber). If you sell these old lenses to some unsuspecting soul, you are doiing a disservice!!!

I'm not sure why you think eBay won't help you find a buyer at the best value for your lens. Of course, if it's one of those kit lenses that everyone recommends against, the best and true market value is near zero, so that's what you'll get. If you have an EX lens, I bet it will find a good bid. Disagree? then show me a completed Sigma SA lens auction on eBay that went for less than a reasonable value.
