Excellent shots, Rodger!

The wren shot is superb. Perfect composition. A treat to the eyes.

Stay healthy

Took a new FZ1000-II for its baptismal run and we found some cooperative prairie dogs.

Many thanks ANAYV.

Excellent images, with my favourite being the last one.

All those shots look great. Love the long neck on the heron, its really long. I agree 100% with you about the feather details on the robin, they are about as good as it gets.

Cute images of the duckling and beautiful images of the mum.

understand on a nice day open all windows and doors have your breakfast

then see what's outside lol
Great idea except up here we're barely scratching 65F in the afternoon if the sun comes out, a couple of days ago it was still freezing at night.

So if I open all the windows it will cost a lot to heat the outside :-p

Well spotted and there's even a bit of detail, ie the eye, at that distance.

Thank you, you're too kind.

I still struggle to have sharp photos with my ZS200.

Despite their small size in the images, you have still managed to retain quite a bit of plumage details, something I am having issues with at the moment.

Once again, the bird is fairly small in the image, but the details are still good when enlarged.

The FZ1000 mk2 is giving sharp results. The fur details look great.

I'm pretty impressed so far. These were made using the medium size 10 MP files and then cropped for comp. The last image of the galloping squirrel is a 100% crop and shows the expected deterioration.

All three very nice but that blue wren is superb. An artistic subject well captured.

What a pose! Detail is extremely impressive. That Sony sensor & lens sure seem like top shelf performers.

Thank you Gaylon, it is a nice piece of kit.
