Well, it was actually a while back on May 1st :-)

As yet in linuxland there's the Appimage, the dhor's ppa is still at 1.2

I've not been much of a fan of appimages but it seems to work fine - no real difference in performance.

I must admit I really like this software - doubly so now I've got a general working profile that just gives me the adjustments I use. I have a couple set up for different cameras with the specific camera and lens profiles already configured.

Actually I find it a good program to use, however I downloaded version 1.3 and I have to report a problem : I cannot apply lens correction (neither autimatically or manually, no way to select a camera or lens), while in version 1.2 it works properly and automatically detects camera and lens used.

The file I downloaded is ART_1.Win64.exe, is there something else I have to do?

Thanks to everyone may support me!

Very interesting, thank you!

I knew RawTherapee for its very good noise reduction while I am mainly using Darktable, but seeing ART may be a simpler approach also adding Darktable's perspective correction I'll definitely give it a try.

Thanks again!

I want to know more about ART vs darktable. I have specific questions but cannot install ART right now. Hope you can help answer.

1. darktable allows stacking same module multiple times. Does ART do that ?

For example on an overexposed image I usually reduce exposure in one module to bring down highlights and increase exposure in another module.

2. Does ART have blending modes ?
