Beautiful bird.
The ID is correctBeautiful bird.
Is this the Little blue Heron or some other variant.
Tricolored is the name of the bird. It's very close in size and similar looking to a Little Blue Heron but with more colors and if you ask me, they're more active. This is my favorite bird to watch and photograph, they go nuts chasing things in the water.Beautiful bird.

Tricolored (Egretta tricolor) and Little Blue (Egretta caerulea) Herons are related, but are different species. Tricoloreds are a little larger but the Little Blues are more widely distributed throughout the southern USA.Beautiful bird.

Thanks. From what I've read PS deletes exif so how others avoid it being deleted is beyond me. I don't know if the difference is between using LR and Elements (what I use) or just a different method of saving or both. I wish I knew what others were doing because I would like for my exif info to show also. Thanks for looking and commenting.Nice Tricolored series. My fav is the last one.
BTW, how come we don't see EXIF?
