Sigma MC-11 with Tamron 15-30mm G2

I recently switched to Sony and when I mount my Tamron 15-30mm G2 with Sigma MC-11 adapter to my A7R IV and A9 cameras the viewfinder now shows the stabilizer not working but it appears to be working when using the camera. The cameras did show it working until recently when I upgraded the firmware on the MC-11 adapter. Anyone else having this issue? Everything is normal when I mount my Sigma 24-35mm f2 zoom lens. These are my only adapted lenses.
