Seriously Adobe. EOS RP was released ONE YEAR ago. I guess they're busy working on panorama tools and friends tagging in the LR App.

LR also "treats" CR3 files, in the sense that it happily processes them.I switched to Luminar 4. I don't know how they treat .cr3 files but the results are not bad.
Luminar 4 solved Luminar's 3 stability problems (it doesn't randomly crash anymore). It's still slow as heck. I tried Capture One but it just cost too much for me right now. I know it's basically the best. But L4 is very, very capable. I can make a photo look right in 30 seconds, it's a great time saver. It's not super cheap though, Luminar is basically on a yearly upgrade basis so who wants to keep updated must spend 60/80€ per year. I'm sure Luminar 5 will be announced this summer.I left Adobe because of I won't rent software. I tried Luminar but that was way to unstable for me. Bought Capture One and haven't looked back. Its a bit of a learning curve (as was LR for me) but its so much more powerful. Better cataloging, can do adjustments layers like PS, etc and I think they do a better job with the RAW files (CR3 for me).
Might want to try it out for free if you're looking to jump ship from Adobe.
If it works for you then great. I did pre order L4 but got a refund because lack of CR3 support. They been promising for a year to add it but never did. I just didn't feel confident that they would ever support it. Since the R became my main camera I had to move on. Anyhow, Capture One is fast, cataloging is way better but you have a lot of options that need to be learned but plenty of videos out there for it.Luminar 4 solved Luminar's 3 stability problems (it doesn't randomly crash anymore). I was like you... refunded L3 and didn't preorder L4. Then recently I discovered they added CR3 support and bought it discounted (59$ IIRC from a link on Fastspring). I'm good for now but will be looking for something else probably in a year. You did good switching, Capture One is certainly better. If it works for you then great. Happy shooting...

We're talking here about camera color profiles that Adobe always provided for Canon cameras and has now stopped to do, just making "Camera Matching" evolved from previous camera profiles by guess work and calling them "Camera Matching".
From what Adobe has explained, it is Canon that is precluding the creation of true CR3 profiles, according to cameras by not providing some technical specifications they allegedly need.
