--What a great gallery you've got. I really like the zoo shots as
well as the nature ones. What lens did you use for those zoo shots?
Nice shot of Vick too. Is that him while he was/is injured?

--I think you probably like the Rebel. Brian I agree with you. I
think the kit lens is a fine performer, at least for me. I think
allot of people knocked it just because of the perceived build
quality. We all knew we weren't going to get an L lens for a C
note. Great start, enjoy.

--All shots taken with the kit lens. I'd have to say so far that the
lens does a great job considering the price and weight. CA does
seem to creep up on some shots though. But I don't even think I'm
tempted by the 17-40L, although I'm sure my virgin eyes aren't
trained in what to look for.

Oh, and the last 2 shots were taken with a flipped 50mm 1.4 pentax
lens flipped and placed in front of the kit lens. This gets me
closer. The duck shot was slightly cropped.

Nice, I'll try it myself!Yeah, I picked it up from a former forum member. Funny thing is I
found this lens in a dumpster with a busted camera. Great lens
though for what I did.
