Is there any way to get focus peaking on the M50 when in magnified view?

It seems like the focus peaking is not available when in magnified view, is that right, or am I missing something? Is it normal for Canon to take this away, or is it just in the M50 and just them being annoying again by removing features arbitrarily?

My M100 certainly has focus peaking when in magnified view. Perhaps set to fully MF mode and see ?

You are correct no focus peaking when magnified. Don’t know if it’s normal but it seems redundant to magnify 10x and to have focus peaking at the same time. In Auto Focus you can magnify and focus at the same time.
