Tamron 17-28 FE f2.8 tight fit should I be concerned?

I see minimal difference from the two. I have the 17-28 as well. It'll loosen up but not much. The Sigma lenses for apsc if I remembered correctly were also tight. I'm thinking it's due to the rubber ring for better weather sealing.

I have a tammy 28-75 and it's also very tight. It loosened up a bit after maybe 20 changes, but only a little from "it's going to break" tight to just very tight.

Compared to tamron, my fuji lenses are super loose, having a little rotational play, not a nice feeling. I had canon l lenses before that and those were somewhere in the middle, just right.

My Tamron 17-28 is fine, as well as all my other lenses. I tried 2 copies of 17-28 - nothing unusual.

I had no issues like this with my older Oly EM5 MKII and the current sony lens 24-105 on my A73.

Was really concerned since I will have a mix of lenses on this A73 and the mount might become loose from using a Tamron lense and my 24-105 might end up becoming loose or worse - wobbly.

Just clarifying... so your 17-28 is not tight ?

Or are both tight?
Both 17-28s, which I mounted on my camera, were neither too tight nor too loose.
