** Weekly X Series Photo Thread 17 NOV - 23 NOV**

Very appealing shots.

The last two are my faves.

That 60mm Macro lens is looking pretty tempting...

The legendary 56mm f/1.2R just arrived today. Its AF is pretty OK on the X-T20, the AF motor's feel/noise is quite ... different :-) still king of bokeh, though.

Also get to process a few flower shots from my backlog, the perk of shooting RAW ...

Looks good! Nice renderings of textures too.

I suppose it;'s monochrome week for the Bob's! 😎

Always a pleasure to wee your images.

Bob
I love them as well, and I’m gonna seriously hope that your comment was a bit of a typo, otherwise, the OP might just take that a bit personally. :-) :-)
That's funny! I suppose I could edit the posts and delete YOURS but it has some comical value....yes the "S" key is somewhat close to the "W" key. If I had said "wee on"...then there would be a problem....especially as an older male...okay enough said. 😄
"Bum"

Really nice!

Been playing around with various programs to see how close I could get to an old silver gelatin looking print, from an old box style camera.

Fuji X100F with my new wide converter.

Feel free to critique, or offer suggestions!

I like it. Can you share what software you used?

Thanks!

Sure! I used Nik Analog Efx Pro 2 for the older effects, and colour toning, and then did some light eq in ACDSee.

Cheers!

Subjectively, I'm interested in this but. . . What really matters is how you feel it suits you 3 weeks from now. I have a sense that if you're asking, you need more time with this in particular, or when similarly applied to other exposures. Got to break quite a few eggs to come up with new & interesting recipe's - no?

How right you are, Bob. I think anyone of us, who's even mildly self-critical, has had that feeling the next day/week/month... of 'Ugghhh.... what was I thinking!'

Eh... time will tell, I 'spose. :-)

I'd call that a great success, Victoria.

Wonderful mood and lovely, subtle tones.

I can be easily accused of being a bit obsessed with Hummingbirds (been that way for many years now). Mea culpa. However, they're just too lovely and temping a target for a little backyard photography. Forgive me in advance if I'm oversharing a bit with these little guys. Really liked the colors in this one (taken with X-H1 and 100-400 lens).

By the looks of things, I'm glad you're sharing your obsession. I've attempted hummingbirds before, and I know how tricky a shot like this can be!

Thank you very kindly, Victoria.
