Nikon shooter wanting to go mirrorless

Z7 has the best image quality without going to medium format I think, based on the studio scene comparison.

Sony’s JPEG clearly provides more details, despite that ISO 25600 is insane anyway.
OK, if you think ISO 25000 is too high (it is) let's look at JPEG skin tones at ISO 200. Yikes! I have never seen an African-American person with green skin.

That‘s the reason, why I shoot RAW and use custom profiles ;-)

BTW: both examples - Nikon Z7 and Sony A7RIV - are too bright and off color. The Z7 redish and the Sony greenish (as you already mentioned)

Not to change your thoughts, but have you considered the Nikon Z offerings? I have long been a Nikon shooter. A couple of years ago, I switched to Fuji with the X-T for travel purposes, while reserving my Nikon 500's for sports shooting. A couple of months ago, I bought the Z6. It was a no brainer given its capabilities and my investment in Nikon glass. The Z6 is my primary travel/everyday camera with the Fuji X-T3 as the backup. The Fuji is an excellent choice, but the Z6 might ease the cost of crossing over.

Very nice work!

It's true that the Z7 and Z6 are reddish, as Tony Northrup proved in a YouTube video, however in the Z forum nobody has complained about "ruddy" skin tones yet. This guy says the Raw (NEF) files are easier to deal with than his Nikon DSLR.

Interesting lens, the F mount Tamron 35-150/2.8-4, for only $799.

Which one is more unnatural on this planet? I've definitely seen more red people than green:-D.

And according to Kermit, it's not easy post-processing green.
