I think these photos have a very good sense of depth.

Location, please? You know I'm interested in this sort of thing, and especially so at the moment, what with "Brexit" and everything.....

No need to be sorry, the image maybe spoke more loudly for being anonymous. My German friends aren't so far away from there (Viersen/M'gladbach) so we'll maybe get there one day.

There are many construction sites in Stockholm at the moment and the regular scenic "postcard" views looks a little different.

I wanted to test three prime lenses I got in an auction for 8 USD each. This is what came out:

Tokina RMC 28/2.8 in SR-mount @ f16
Tokina RMC 28/2.8 in SR-mount @ f16

Minolta MD1 50/1.7 @ f8
Minolta MD1 50/1.7 @ f8

Minolta MC-X 135/3.5 @ f8
Minolta MC-X 135/3.5 @ f8

A couple of shots from the deck this morning, morning coffee at hand.

Peaceful morning following a violent late-night storm, including a tornado in Bentonville, a neighboring town.

Finally took the time to go out and play with this one a little. Mostly test pics, but some of 'em didn't turn out too bad.

Definitely seeing the hexagonal bokeh when stopping down here. :)

Really like the rendering on the water tower.

And the fall colors came out nicely here, though not fond of how the leaves get eaten at upper-left. OTOH, the thin branches at upper-right managed to survive fairly well (or at least they did before uploading, we'll see how they come through.)

The leaves have been very slow to change color this year...

Very nice cardinal... and it seems the colors are changing as late for you as they are for us. We're almost a month behind here.

Part 2 has started here.

You must have missed Alan's request to post "no new photos" in this thread. https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/63226537

The reason will be to do with the thread being close to the 150 post maximum (142 before I started this one), so if more new photos are posted here it will have an impact on anyone wanting to comment not just on your contribution (very pretty) but all the others posted earlier as well. I suggest if you repost in part 2.

And yes, this does bring us 1 more closer to the dreaded 150.

This is really good.

Regards,

Alan
Thank you Alan!

The funny part was, I was trying to make some scenic/landscape-shots, but the clouds kept distracting.... so I decided to frame carefully and made 1 pic of the clouds...

The processing took a bit of thought, and some subtle toning.
