News of X-T3 firmware update?

Hi all,

With the release of the XPro3 comes some really interesting features, many of which I think/hope will come very soon to the X-T3 (maybe even X-T30). Here's some features announced on the XPro3 I'd like to see immediately released:

-new film sim Classic Neg

-further ability for in camera jpgs, including tone curves in camera

-ability to convert RAW to 16 bit TIFF in camera (hope it comes to Fuji X Studio??)

-HDR (creates jpgs and RAWs!)

-focus limiter; I think would be great for 60/2.4, 35/1.4, maybe even 80?

-customizable Q menu, incl number of items and making it transparent!

-focus bracketing, set near and far then camera takes as many frames needed, yes!!

-can name adapted lenses, and saves in EXIF

What other new features have you noted, or that you would like to see on the Xtrans 4 camera firmware updates?

Does anyone have info on when the new firmware for the other Xtrans 4 cameras may be released?

New auto focus algorithm (down to -6EV)

Black and white adjustment

Grain effect

Color chrome blue

Multiple exposure function enhanced
 
And the X-A7's light trail feature as well !
 
No love for the X-T30?

Surely, they will not adandon a product less than a year old... or will they leave out the most useful ones to make it "different" from its big brother? We'll see.

Let’s hope these will come to the X-T3. Especially focus bracketing, naming of adapted lenses and HDR.

Agree, I want these! Before midnight would be nice ;-)

I think this one will be only for the X-Pro3, as users don't have a back screen to look at when using the VF (probably flipped backwards, with the new small screen facing you).

So they gave the users the transparency solution because they will be navigating the Q menu items having their eye in the VF, and could miss what was going around them.
 
Do you guys think that perhaps FujiFilm will withhold some of those upgrades (for now) in order to establish some kind of differentiation in an attempt to help drive sale figures for the XPro3?

I got word (thanks), that Fujifilm will soon announce major Kaizen firmware updates.

I am in constant contact with sources, trying to confirm this rumor and to figure out now which cameras are included."

This was in 9th September 2019.

Not sure if this was just a rumor, but i haven't heard anything else, and the "soon" word is not making sense anymore, 1,5 months after the rumor...

Now, i don't expect my X-T30 to get all the nice things, pretty sure Fuji will drop one or two of the main features and leave those for the X-T3 and X-Pro3.

This is making me keep my X-T3 for now before selling it.
