More typical use, not sure if this was f1.4, could have been or could have been f2

Amazing detail!

DKL Mount on a7ii. I had a hard time 'getting' the lens at first; early outings were disappointing. I'm sure it was user error or circumstantial.

But it does turn out to be a nice lens for a modest cost. Colors are great, similar to the Color Skopar x 50/2.8. Decently sharp, seems best around 11-16.

For lack of other subjects that day, I tried to find all the neon circles I could. Apertures are guestimates.

First taste of fall colors. One of the earlier, less successful walks. It was raining and condensation was giving me problems. @ f8

Flare control isn't great. Sometimes you just have to lean into it. @ f8

#1 beautiful art - love it!

Magenta always seems to be the troublemaker.

It looks pretty good otherwise though; it looks fairly natural to me, on the device I'm currently using of course.
I need a new monitor for sure. Reds saturate a huge lot before rest on this Mac air

Have you tried calibrating it? I’m using a MacBook for mine, and it seems to do a decent job when I keep it calibrated with a Spyder. The big problem is the difference between the lighting - very bright fluorescent at the office, fairly dim floor lamp at home.

And yes, the #1 was very nice :)

here is a picture from my last trip to the Red Sea. I took it with Canon 100mm f:2.8 IS Macro, Oly EM1II and Metabones 0.71x speedbooster (in Nauticam housing with 60mm Macroport and appopriate extension). Here is a picture that shows the shy and not easy to approach Red Sea sand eels:
