Very curious to see the sharpness and bokeh with the X-series 24mp APS-C sensor.

Found a copy at KEH (Bargain) for $500 and jumped on it.

Went to Flickr and *wow* it looks pretty good to me.. not my shot but good.

I like it! My only negative is the aperture ring is too loose and easy to move but other than that, I think it's a great bargain.

I posted a video below using this lens.

I've always been interested in it but the pricing is always way up there. For $500, I think you got a good deal.

Now, we have the 80mm Fuji.

All using a Novaflex adapter

Two of the best vintage lenses for bokeh on the market. Also the best value.

I love what the Minolta is doing here with OOF near the center. I would be interested to see it stopped down a tad at some point. Wait, flickr has a ton...looking now.

It really is very very good. The AF is a deal better than the 60 too.

The adapted macro lenses are ok, but the crispy-crunchy sharpness and Zeiss colors and Bokeh are one of a kind to me.

I have a Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mm 2.4 which focuses realllly close and is *almost* as good as the Touit.. *almost*.

Here's one from the Flektogon:

I have been rocking it for a while...great lens. My aperture ring is rock solid. Wish it had a focus limiter.....

Got mine today via KEH as $500 BGN (Bargain) lens.

Lens has a slight ding near the aperture ring.. making it a bit stiff- which I can live with!

Saved a decent amount, so I'm happy!

Ahhh.. SOOC via Fuji app first shots with XH-1:

"Daddy.. got a new lens?"

You guys are killing me with these prices you're paying. I did see a Touit 32 1.8 once for $250 and very nearly pulled the trigger. Wish I had.

Seemed like a decent price for what I got.

You saw one for $250? Is that USD?

Very much so. It makes me wonder - 80mm Fuji or 50mm Touit? (If I could get that price that is...)

Yep. I really wish I had grabbed it.

Sent back the BGN lens.. the dents on the lens will make it hard to resell in the future..despite the lens working well.

Decided to get the same lens- except in the EXC grade from KEH.

For a small additional price, it will be in EXC condition instead of BGN.

I feel EXC about my decision.

Ah - interesting. I'm going to look on KEH now.
