Really a beautiful place. Had fun camping here but the beach is really special. Also has one of the best sunsets.

PEN F with 9-18mm, this is a special combo.

Always fun to see what is hiding in the dark parts of such an image. :-D

Beautiful shots of one of my favorite beach towns! Did you hit Ipperwash or the Pinery?

...I especially like those last two.

Nice to have such sand dunes and something like your lakes so close to where you live! Would take me a couple hours of driving to find something similar.
Same photo but with my Samsung S9.
Looks like the Samsung's jpg engine has a slightly different approach when it comes to balancing the brighter areas and the shadows. Or just a little different metering, compared to the Pen F shot?

Playing the same silly little game with your Samsung shot, it shows that even in the dark parts of the image all the color information is still present, different to the Pen F shot:

Oh wow, you really were able to bring out the shadows amazingly on the Samsung photo. I don't shoot raw but I suppose if I did I probably could have done something similar. I was going for the silhouette type photo more interested in the sky, but you found interest in the shadows which was really cool. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

It doesn't take shooting RAW, JP, actually RAW is something I have never tried. :-D

This here was just using an old Photoshop filter in an old version of Photoshop. Lifting the shadows that way often introduces lots of noise, so it usually takes a second step like denoise/sharpen in something like Neat Image.
