I shot several short test videos at different frame rates a few days ago because I was trying to analyze why a video I shot seemed to look so bad. Anyways I watched a few youtube videos on frame rates and producing an edited video from it. It said to find out what your settings were on the original video and then change your output in your editing program to those settings. What I found out is that the test video I shot with the A6000 set on 60fps was not filming at 60fps. It's only shooting at 29fps. Am I reading this wrong? Is there another setting that needs changed to make it shoot at 60fps?

thanks,

Angel

Is this the properties of the edited video or the one from camera?

update: I looked at a recently shot video and found that my A6000 shot that video in 60fps. There is no telling why it wasn't shooting 60fps the entire time. I even went back to the details from the original file in case I'd looked at it wrong. I wasn't mistaken. It had malfunctioned.

I have found that it is just not working correctly. It did shoot 60fps a few times but then the files were corrupted. The next time I tried to shoot at 60fps, it was only shooting at 29fps.

Do a factory reset and update to latest firmware.
