I have been using A6000 and Peaking Focus was exceptional especially with Portraits especially with it on LOW with it very thin Peaking indicators. HIGH was to thick.

I have now switched to A6500 and find that LOW is now 3-5 times as thick as it was on the A6000. In fact its thicker than the A6000 was in HIGH position. It really is useless, maybe OK my Sony 18-200mm OSS at it full telescopic. I have tried two A6500 and they are the same. Is this normal for the A6500.

It had a SUSPICION that its to do with the much better 'eye viewer' but it has similar problem on the new Touch Monitor.

Is this normal ?

There may not be anyone in this forum that owns both the A6000 & A6500. But there will be for sure in the Sony E-mount APS-C forum - try your question over there.
