I first visited these falls a couple years ago and wanted to go back again. Had the opportunity a little while back. Was an overcast, drizzly morning and I had the place to myself. Hoping for some honest C&C on these two please. Always looking to learn and improve. Thanks for looking.

The composition of the 1st one is pretty good. The only thing keeping the 2nd one from being even better is too little headroom above the top of the falls. However, both images are a bit underexposed as evidenced by the fact that the white water is actually gray.

I do like the first one. I'll be there in October and looking forward to giving it a go. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the input. Made a few tweaks that I think will help. Agreed, 2nd cropped too tight at the top. Had lowered the highlights and the whites too far therefore the gray water I believe.

Thanks Bill. Look forward to seeing your version.

I really like the scene. Wish had included a bit more of the rocks left of waterfall.

Very nice !! I love Vermont..visited last fall and will definitely be back!!

I like the first one with more space on the top. Thats a great lens. The image really needs to be seen at full size to appreciate it. Perhaps a crop of a little of the left side (but then maybe not).

Yes it is. It is right off the road. (Rte.100) Also has a boardwalk right to it. You cant miss it.
