Have XT20, wanting XT2 should I

I personally would highly recommend the X-T2. I had one but due to an unfortunate accident, it was destroyed. At the time I was looking to replace it the X-T3 was on sale for cheaper than the X-T2. Had that sale not been going on I wouldn't have hesitated to grab another X-T2.

the X-T2 deal is very tempting...I'm on a different boat where I own the GX85 with the kit 12-32mm and Leica 15mm 1.7 but have always been intrigued by the Fuji X system. Adding the 14-140mm mk2 lens was the original plan, but when I saw the X-T2 for $799, it surely is tempting to explore Fuji.

Any advice here? Should I just continue to invest in m43?
If you are not pushing the limits of ISO in low light, or craving a little more background blurring in your shots then I'd say stick with m43. There are some really nice lenses available for that system and always felt it's better to put money into that rather than newer bodies. I switched over fully just over a year ago. I really like the Fuji system and biggest advantage I've found it using the cheap fast zooms, but must say I miss those tiny (light) prime lenses of m43.

I´ve had both.

The X-T2 has a larger body with better grip and a place for thumb and is (much) easier to hold.

With the X-T20 you have touch-AF and touch-to-shoot, and it´s smaller, which all can be of use in street shooting.

I have the X-T2 now and am still not sure, if it was the right decision to sell the X-T20. It was better for street, the T2 is better for everything else, especially with larger lenses. You can buy an additional grip for the T20, but in my experience it doesn´t help much (still no place for the right thumb), it just makes the T20 a lot heavier. I think the ergonomics of the T20 are unfortunately screwed up a bit compared to Canon M5 or Sony A6xxx.

I´m planning to use the T2 with Canon glass as soon as my adapter arrives, so I guess I´ll keep it because of the ergonomics.
I think the biggest thing is the ergonomics (including the big EVF). I just don't gel with the X-T20 handling, especially with the 16mm 1.4 and 55-200.

I have just bought the Fuji metal grip for it, which has made some difference, but still not super comfortable like the X-T2. I wonder whether I need to add a thumb grip too..
