Thank ANAYV ,... dynamic range is indeed much better, ISO performance as wellYour off to a good start, DUBTEMPLE!
Last two are my favorite.
You might want to try and shoot with a more open aperture.
F6.3 and F8 might be it diffraction territory, resulting in softer images, than if shot at , say f4 or F5.6
Dynamic range is my first though as to how the FZ1000 is much better than the .....you know what ?X!@&$ camera
Enjoy a classic camera , and the step up in I.Q.

Totally right, I should have said, its just not correctedOnly thing wrong with those is they all slant to the left. I suggest turning on the aid lines or level and squeezing the shutter.
Thanks Rodger !!Excellent shots form the FZ1000.
Thanks, yes guess I will like this one very very muchGood start. I expect you will like this FZ CLASSIC very much.
What nonsense. Burned out heavy! Can't you post anything without exaggerated trashing of sub 1" kit and turning it in to a competition?Thank ANAYV ,... dynamic range is indeed much better, ISO performance as wellYour off to a good start, DUBTEMPLE!

These habor-pics would have been burned out heavy with FZ200, and more so FZ80
Since the ferry was moving fast HDR-shots would not make sense, so a good example where a bigger sensor shines
I made several shots with different aperture, but more to study DOF, that was changing surprisingly little in this case, the glass does have its own sweetspot also of-course, like the FZ200 had, (around F4),..
I will sure enjoy !!!
I have had my FZ1000 since early 2015 and put thousands of frames through it. It has been my go to camera for many different tasks. This includes air shows, landscapes, kid sports, and family photos. I have even started to use it for some short videos of our full time RV adventures. While I do enjoy using my Fuji XT-1, my FZ1000 is still my workhorse. I'm pretty sure you will not wear it out. Thanks, yes guess I will like this one very very muchGood start. I expect you will like this FZ CLASSIC very much.
Guess it will be some kind of basic in my setup and workflow
I will try to still use the old ones, most possible, for less demanding works, to keep the FZ1000 working longest possible, unfortunately I wear out this kind of cameras very quick, like 2-3-4 years time
Awesome, I'm sure you're going to love your FZ1000! An extra battery or 2 are a good idea. If the FZ1000 has a weakness, it's battery life. Of course that depends on how you use it. When I'm at an air show I can plan on using all 3 of my batteries. For most other things I haven't had any problems, it's just convenient to carry an extra.I have a mint FZ1000 arriving today (hopefully) . After years of using older (10yrs+) dslr's I've gotten tired of needing a multitude of lenses. The FZ should cover all my bases, although I know there are some areas where each camera type excel's in its own right.
Had a FZ80 new, last year and couldn't sell it fast enough. Reading about the battery life of the FZ1000, I can see a couple of spare batteries coming up plus a lens hood.
