Do you have another card to check in the camera? Can you put it in a card reader to test on a computer? Is it a known good camera battery?
I can think of three possible problems: bad or corrupted card, issues with camera electronics, bent/corroded contact pin in the card slot.
If you can get them to communicate, format in-camera before shooting.
