Tony: thanks for the feedback. I see your point and I agree, these bright spots are distracting. Let me see if I can crop them out, or tone them down!I do like this idea. The bright white glare spots really detract from the concept. Maybe she should be cropped as a tight horizontal image remove the distraction??
Great feedback, thank you !!I like the idea but find the hazy milky water to be counterintuitive and would wonder how to get it to be more reflective or colorful like one typically sees in water. But it's' also your own thing so feel free to YMMV. I think the haze was added or augmented by shallow DOF in post.
At the water line there are blue lines across her nose and cheek - viewer RH side - they kind of look like magic marker but guessing something missed while editing color in post.
Pretty good though - a few things to enhance maybe - your choice.

The nose - I think it should either be above water or below with the water line just below the eyes.

Good point.. Oh how I wish if every one of my portrait work is unique of its kind. I don't claim to be there yet, but I'll keep trying. Thank you for responding and providing an example, highly appreciated !

If the nose was beautiful, bring it up , if broad or crooked - hide it.
